TEB1000 series
The TEB1000 bioreactor is conceived to allow the user to create experimental set-ups for cell culture under flow conditions. Moreover the temperature and gas concentration conditions required for cell grow and development, Â the TEB1000 incorporates two integrated peristaltic pumping systems which can be controlled independently. Up to twenty independent flow channels can be set-up in the TEB1000, notably improving the scalability of your experimental set-ups. All the control systems are fully integrated in the TEB1000 removing the need of using external devices, which results in cleaner, cheaper, easier-to-develop and more effective cultures.
Whitley WASP Touch®
The WASP Touch® is a precision laboratory instrument designed to deposit accurate volumes of liquid sample in an Archimedes spiral onto the surface of a rotating agar plate. Spiral plating is well documented and validated as an effective method for the enumeration of microorganisms.
Designed for the needs of modern microbiology laboratories, the WASP Touch® is a fundamentally different spiral plater with no need for a separate vacuum source. With touchscreen operation the system is extremely simple to use and provides real cost savings and process improvements.
Whitley A155 GMP Workstation
The A155 GMP Anaerobic Workstation* is specifically designed to be used as a clean-air isolator in processes following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This is the first Whitley GMP Workstation that allows two people to work in the chamber at same time. The A155 GMP Workstation provides Grade A air cleanliness (EU GMP) and combines sterile anaerobic uni-directional airflow, positive operating pressure, and physical isolation to provide highly effective product protection. Unlike traditional isolators that use inlet air from the surrounding room, this workstation is a fully closed recirculating system so can be housed in a Grade D cleanroom during GMP compliant use.
Whitley A135 GMP Anaerobic Workstation
Don Whitley Scientific has over 40 years of experience in the design and manufacture of anaerobic cabinets, and in 2013 developed the Whitley Internal HEPA Filtration System, primarily to serve our research customers. In collaboration with customers running GMP licensed facilities, we have now developed innovative uni-directional airflow technology, and successfully added this feature to an anaerobic workstation to create a unique product offering: a uni-directional airflow workstation that allows users to process samples under strict anaerobic conditions.
Whitley A135 HEPA Workstation
The Whitley A135 HEPA is a tall, wide, anaerobic workstation fitted with the unique internal HEPA filtration system. Like our other anaerobic chambers, it provides excellent conditions for the processing, incubation and examination of samples without exposure to atmospheric oxygen. With an internal volume of 950 litres, this workstation can accommodate a variety of laboratory equipment, eg cell sorters, colony pickers, high throughput bio-reactors, microscopes and spiral platers such as the Whitley WASP Touch.
Whitley A85 Workstation
The Whitley A85 is used when there is a need to easily process, incubate and examine samples without exposure to atmospheric oxygen. This anaerobic workstation has a large, 36 litre airlock and accommodates up to 560 x 90mm plates. Â Oval glove ports enable you to work comfortably, gloved or bare handed. Each gloveport also acts as a mini-airlock so you can transfer up to 10 plates through each as you insert or withdraw your arms.
Whitley A55 Workstation
The Whitley A55 provides a huge working capacity when there is a need to easily process, culture and examine samples without exposure to atmospheric oxygen. This workstation has two airlocks (one on the left and one on the right) and provides the ability to manipulate samples in a sustainable environment where parameters can be altered to create the required conditions.
